An aft deck designed for gathering friends and family has several features that deliver the fun of easy entertaining. LED lighting built into the overhead makes the space usable around the clock. Access to the aft deck area is via wide port and starboard staircases from the swim platform, each protected by a stainless gate. Also Summit engineered boarding doors in each hullside. Comfortable seating is sheltered by the overhang of the hardtop or flying bridge, and a finely finished table on a sliding mechanism adjusts position easily to serve a broad, U-shaped transom settee. The wide opening aft bulkhead, thanks to a swing-up window, ensures simple delivery of snacks, meals, and refreshing beverages through a bar arrangement. In combination with the large door, this enhances the indoor-outdoor feel that brings the yacht’s social spaces together. Cushioned stools complete the scene, a pair of perches that let owner or guests enjoy morning coffee or sundowners in convivial company with a terrific view.
The foredeck makes great use of a space once given over to ground tackle management and tender stowage. The breezes and sunshine at anchor are the best here (not to mention some privacy and views of the fairway rather than the dock when tied up stern-to), and a sunpad and bench seat make smart use of the trunk cabin top. Ease of movement around the yacht is preserved by wide walking spaces and high rails.

Nowhere does a Summit Motoryacht shine more brightly for an owners family and friends than the flybridge, where the entire group of onboard guests can be together sharing time aboard, but do their own thing. The flybridge design incorporates the helm station with companion seating of course, but it is positioned to give the helmsman proper all-around sightlines and the best ride in all conditions. While the helm is at the center of the action, a forward sunpad area invites those intent on relaxing to get out in front and enjoy the view. Along the port side the sunpad connects to an L-shaped settee with a table suitable for coffee, cocktails, or dining. The aft area is a boat deck with davit that stows a tender athwartships, out of the way until needed. When the small boat is launched the area can accommodate sunlounges or a café table and chairs.
Nothing says performance to the crew at Summit Motoryachts like a yacht that achieves its design mission fully, and this is exhibited best of all at the swim platform. Our design makes it easy to gain access the sea when anchored, with a foldout swim ladder tucked under the platform. Drop-in rails help prevent undesired sea access, and give a handhold when the platform is used for boarding or disembarking via tender or launch.
